After finishing her Bachelor’s degrees in Urban Planning, GIS and International Studies, Kana is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Urban Planning (specialization in Regional/International Development) at UCLA Luskin. Prior to graduate school, she has worked in a planning-related field in Wisconsin, Tokyo, Japan and Lusaka, Zambia. She is interning at the Lusaka Province Planning Authority in Zambia this summer.
Kana’s concentration is Regional/International Development in Urban Planning. Also, she working on Global Urbanization and Regional Development for GPA.
One of my career goals is to work as a planner in an international organization. I would like to help provide better living environment to people in developing countries, particularly in sub-Sahara Africa.
