Law 298: International and Transnational Criminal Law*

In this course, we will study international and transnational crimes (such as crimes against humanity, genocide, war crimes, corruption, narcotics and money laundering, piracy, and torture); the principles of jurisdiction that may be use to prescribe, adjudicate and enforce these crimes; enforcement mechanisms of these crimes (including the International Criminal Court and transnational prosecutions); and the logistical and procedural challenges involved in the prosecution of these crimes (such as extraterritorial application of U.S. constitution, extradition, abduction). *Law courses are on semester system. This course is under Spring 2017 semester
