Glenn Yamada practiced as an attorney in the fields of immigration and litigation before coming to the Luskin School to obtain his Masters in Public Policy. He has worked on high profile litigation matters involving international corporations and visas for Japanese actors hoping to succeed in Hollywood. During this time, his interest in global affairs developed as a result of being exposed to various issues arising from cultural differences. His interests range from development policy to worldwide human rights, particularly those concerning the welfare of children. Glenn is fluent in Japanese and hopes to utilize this skill in his career. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career in international relations and development.
