Katja is from Sierra Madre, CA. She received her B.A. in Political Science and Russian Studies from UCLA, and is currently an MPP. She is pursuing the Global Health and Global Institutions certificates, as she hopes to begin a career in international health upon graduation. She has taken most of her concentration classes in the Public Health school’s Community Health Sciences and Health Policy and Management Departments. After graduation, Katja would like to work abroad for a few years in either Russia or Latin America and then return to the US (maybe LA!) to work in healthcare locally.
