Alex Linz
MURP’ 17, International Practice Pathway Fellow
Alex is completing his Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. His research interests include sustainable infrastructure, natural resource governance, and built/natural interface zones. He currently studies deep energy retrofitting as a researcher for the University of California Carbon Neutrality Initiative. Prior to graduate school, Alex worked with LADOT and the Trust for Public Land on active transportation and urban greening projects. Through the International Practice Pathway fellowship, he will be joining World Resources Institute in Mumbai to address climate change adaptation among informal settlements. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, and Society from UC Berkeley.
